The NYCU Tainan Dormitory is composed of several accommodation units, with each unit accommodating up to 75 individuals. The design aims to avoid large-scale and massive buildings, creating a warm and comfortable living environment.

The layout of the dormitory compound includes 5 semi-independent buildings with courtyards, comprising 4 buildings for graduate student dormitories and 1 building for the Clubhouse, totaling approximately 2,800 square meters of floor space. The entire area is centered around a composite public space, aiming to foster a sense of belonging and cohesion among residents.

Sponsored by five donating enterprises with each contributing 43 million NT dollars, the dormitory complex consists of five building units, named Himax Building (A Block), Catcher Building (B Block), Wistron Building (C Block), Hermes-Epitek Building (D Block), and Chroma Building (E Block), becoming everlasting spiritual and cultural assets.
